Candy has taught numerous children how to ride and has coached riders of the local horse show series. Her experience has been in the English riding and all the way to Western Pleasure. She is excellent at selecting and recognizing quality horses and ponies and has consistently produced winners at local shows. She has a passion for teaching students of all ages. Candy has built and created Candy Lane Acres as a way to make horseback riding accessible and enjoyable to all types of riders with a wide range of goals and dreams. Cand has helped build her business based on honesty, respect, and
communication. She values teamwork, sportsmanship, and responsibility in her students, a combination she feels creates not only self esteem, but lifelong sense of accomplishment.

Chelsie has been around horses her entire life and is one of our head trainers and instructors here at Candy Lane Acres. She is currently a student at Lake Erie College pursuing a degree in Equestrian studies. She specializes in teaching young students and students who want to add showing into their riding. Her students have consistently been High-Point Champions and year end champions at several local show series.
