PRICE INFORMATION

2011 Lesson Breakdown and Pricing

This is a great place to learn about horses and also make some great friendships. We offer a wide variety of lesson styles:

Private
Semi-Private
3-4 rider group(English/ Western mix)
6-7 rider group(English/ Western mix)
Advanced English II(includes jumping)
Advanced English I (includes jumping)
Novice English
Beginner English

Lesson schedules are prepared mid-month for the next month to come. Times vary throughout the year and change month to month depending on ring and instructor availability. CLICK HERE for the current lesson schedule.

LESSON PRICE LIST

PRIVATE
Private lessons are scheduled either in a 1 hour or 1 / 2 hour timeframe. They consist of only one (1) rider per session and can be any riding style. These lessons are scheduled per request.
1 HOUR .....................$ 45.00
1/2 HOUR ..................$ 30.00
Children under 5 .......$ 25.00

SEMI - PRIVATE
Semi-Private lessons are scheduled either in a 1 hour or 1 / 2 hour timeframe. They consist of only two (2) riders per session and can be any riding style. These lessons are scheduled per request.
(2 people) 1 HR $ 40.00/ea.
(3 people) 1 HR $ 35.00/ea.

(2people) 1/2 HR $ 25.00/ea.

3 - 4 RIDER GROUP (ENGLISH/WESTERN)
Group lesson for 3 – 4 riders only. These lessons will consist of English & Western riding styles combined for a one (1) hour session

6 – 7 RIDER GROUP (ENGLISH/WESTERN)
Group lesson for 6 – 7 riders only. These lessons will consist of English & Western riding styles combined for a one (1) hour session

BASIC DRESSAGE

ENGLISH PRICE LIST

Group lesson for 5 – 7 riders only and are one (1) hour sessions. These lessons are ENGLISH only and include ground pole and caveletti work. PRE-REQUISITE: Beginner English and the instructors permission.

English/Western - $25.00 One-Hour
Group lesson consisting of English and Western riding. Students will learn the elements of steering while going over ground poles. Depending on their level students will walk, trot, and canter learning their leads at the canter.

Beginner English - $25.00 One-Hour
Group lesson for students who want to learn English riding or who have just started. The lesson will consist of English riding only and students will learn their diagnols and two point position. Students will also learn the basic elements of jumping over ground poles/small crossrails and coursework.

English I - $25.00 One-Hour
Group lesson for students who have completed beginner English. The lesson consists of English riding only, students will continure their learning of jumping by working on striding and coursework over crossrails at the trot and work towards jumping at the canter. Introduction of riding without stirrups.
PRE-REQUSITE – Beginner English

English II - $25.00 One-Hour
Group lesson for students who have completed English I. The lessons consists of English riding only, students will learn more advanced aspects of jumping crossrails to 2' verticals over more advanced courses at the canter. Students MUST know diagnols and leads. Students should be able to walk, trot, and canter without stirrups. Introduction to lateral work.
PRE-REQUISITE – English I

Advanced English I - $30.00
(includes jumping 2'6" and under)
Group lesson for 1 ¼ hour for students who have completed English II. This lessons consists of English riding only, students should be able to warm up independently and canter a course of verticals ranging from 2' to 2'3". Students must have solid body position and balance. They must be able to walk, trot, and canter without stirrups and canter a cross rail without stirrups. Students will learn different aspects of jumping courses such as bending lines, rollbacks, and oxers. Students must understand simple and flying lead changes.
PRE-REQUISITE – English II

Advanced English II $30.00
(includes jumping over 2'6")
Group lesson for 1 ¼ hour for students who have completed Advanced English I. This lesson consists of English riding only, students should be able to warm up independently and canter a course of verticals ranging from 2'3" to 2'9". Students must be able to canter a 2' to 2'3" course without stirrups. Students must be able to keep their horse in a working frame and jump a variety of courses on all different level horses. Students must be able to make an improvement in the horse. They must be able to jump end jumps, rollbacks, bending lines and oxers.

Cancellation Policy

We would like to remind everyone of our cancellation policy.  We apologize for having to reiterate this policy, but there are only so many lesson spots available and if someone cancels late, that doesn’t give us a chance to call someone else that may have wanted to ride.  The more notice that you give me could allow someone that may be on the waiting list to move into your spot.  We understand that emergencies and illness do come up and there could be exceptions to this policy, so please contact Candy with any questions or problems.
If cancelled within 24 HOURs of your scheduled lesson time, the FULL lesson fee will be charged for the missed lesson.
